THE AUTHOR
Allow me to introduce myself: I am Isabella from Austria. Since the end of August 2008 I am in Chisinau, Moldova, where I do EVS (European Voluntary Service). From September to January I worked in a children’s home for orphans or vulnerable kids in difficult social situations. Since February 2009, I work at Hilfswerk Austria in Moldova. This is is one of Austria’s largest organisations sponsoring developmental cooperation and assistance to Eastern Europe. In the course of my work there, I have the opportunity to observe and support the implementation of the project “Eu votez pentru ca…”. THE BLOG
This blog is dedicated to accompany the civic education programme “Eu votez pentru ca…” that is implemented by Hilfswerk Austria in Moldova in cooperation with CMB Training Centre and financed by the European Union and the Austrian Development Agency in order to raise the voter turnout in the upcoming Moldovan Parliamentary elections as well as political and democratic awareness. In the course of this project, mock elections are held in 18 Moldovan communities. Through this blog, I try to communicate my impressions during the realisation of this civic education project and by this means let you have part in it.
